Ok I found a used Superchips 1855 Flashpaq Tuner. The guy sold his truck and no longer needs it. My question how does a tuner go from truck to truck? I thought you were only allowed to use it on one truck?

I may have found the answer to my own question. I read that as long as the guy returned his truck to stock tune it would be OK to use the tuner on a different vehicle. If he did not the tuner would be VIN locked and useless?

That's correct. However, you might be able to send it to Superchips and get it unlocked (for a fee - usually $75-100).

BTW, I highly recommend custom tunes.
