If it's only doing it when the hubs are locked I'd say it's in the hub. What happens if you lock one hub at a time? It might tell you what side it is. Just my .02 I know very little about 4WD
If it only makes that noise with th hubs locked in, check the pinion bearing. It's amazing how sound can travel through the driveline. I had a simular experience with a '95 F250 I used to have. Could've sworn the t-case was coming apart, turned out to be a worn locking hub.
well guys, I just replaced the self centering yoke inside the double cardan joint and problem solved FINALLY!!!! Now i just need to get used to it working properly! lol Kinda irritating that i literally replaced every other joint in the equation, but hey, atleast i know everything is in good condition! thanks everyone fir the advice, and Nate, all i can say is sorry it took me so long to listen, but thank you for constantly sayin it! lol you're awesome! as soon as i can i'll have the reps sent!
