4x4 not working....

Hey guys I am looking for a little help here. My shift on the fly 4x4 is not working. If I get out and manually lock the hubs in I am good to go. I hooked a smoke machine up to all the vacuum lines and could not find any leaks. If anyone has any suggestions on we're to start looking I really would appreciate it. Thanks for the help

Have you test your vacuum pump solenoid? One symptoms of a bad solenoid is your air switching to defrost when the 4x4 is engaged.
