High pressure oil line

Any ideas on how to get these fittings loose without the special tool or where to get the tool local? I have a bad O ring that needs to be changed.

Do you have an old open end wrench laying around?
If so, you can grind it down so it will slip in between the collar and flange. I use a 10mm wrench that I ground down. I don't have a photo of mine handy but I think there is one in this link...
(see photo on page 3 of the attached file...)

Hope this helps.

I have heard that the special wrench for a grinder will fit in there and pop them right off.

you can always make one from the little tin wrenches that come with a die grinder.
I always just use a couple of screwdrivers. If its the oring on the fitting you can always remove the fitting with the hose attatched. just make sure it clean and dry before you reassemble. AND USE LOCTITE.

I used to use two screwdrivers, but now I just have the right tool from the right place. It looks good and contributes to the place that goes above and beyond to help everyone out on here.
Thanks Clay

Or I can bring my Riffraff line tool over, I'm looking for excuses to put miles on my new bike.
When do you want to do it? Give me a call.

I used needle-nosed pliers... just slid the tips in between the two halves and then gently rapped on the ends of the handles and the taper on the tip of the pliers pushed the two halves apart. But like they said, a tapered wrench or THE tool are ideal.
