After Replacing Transfer Case Motor

So I replaced the transfer case motor and I have an issue. Everything seems to be engaging and disengaging just fine, however when I go to 4wd High the light flashes and goes out even though it is in 4WD High. There are no issues at all with 4wd Low and the light. Any advice would be appreciated.

Give us some more background on the truck such as year and trim package?

Check out this thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...then-some.html It may be your IWE system not engaging properly.

I just replaced my Transfer case shift motor and haven't had any issues yet. But I also haven't driven too far since this weekend.

I believe the system is engaging and working as it should.....it's just the light issue. The light comes on as it should when going 4lo but only blinks and goes out when going into 4h. Sometimes the 4h light will work as it should but more often then not it doesn't.

Again the 4wd system is engaging and disengaging as it should. It's just the light issue.

I don't have any ideas off the top of my head, but the Ford shop manual will guide you thru the dianostics to a sucessful conclusion. At least that's been my experience. You should be able to borrow one from your local public library.
