After getting the truck up and running again, I discovered an oil leak and traced it to the pedestal, it seemed ok when I examined it while it was off but none the less it still leaked. I took the valve apart again and found everything soaked with oil indicating lots of blow-by. After a long talk with Guzzle at Diesel-O-rings I decided to go with the none ebpv pedestal, I don't want to fool with it again and what most are saying, they don't miss it.
