Grinding start..
Started my 6.7 today and all I heard was a grinding noise. I turned key off immediately. Then when I went to restart it was fine. Anyone else have this happen to them? Sounded like starter gears didn't grab.

Did you ever find out what was causing your problem. I have a 2011 6.7 with 43k miles on it and have had it happen several times in the last few months. I took it to my local dealer and they said the starter was bad. That cost $519 to replace and I am still having the same problem.
