Finally pulled the trigger............

Figured I'd start a new thread rather than bump my old one looking for pics of a green gem/ sterling grey truck, and weights.

Decided to pull the trigger tonight and ordered the green gem/ sterling grey dually, black interior. Pretty much most options lariat. They said the last one showed up in 4 weeks and a day. Hope this shows up that quick.......................Can't wait. I'll post pics when it gets here..............

Congrats Ferguson,

You'll love the power of your new truck compared to the 5.9.

I didn't hammer on the one I test drove, just not how I am. But I constantly feel that the 5.9 is underpowered with 10+k on the back. That was before I set it back to the stock tune, now it's a real pig. With 75 extra HP and 190 extra foot pounds on tap I can't wait to get the Ford hooked to the trailer. That said, I hope I get it 4 weeks quick, because I need it to drag the trailer the first weekend of May, and I'd like to get 500-1000 miles before I hook up. I'm also over the six speed truck and ready to get back to an automatic, I'll save the stick for the wheeler and the DD car.

Now I just need to order the new back rack and gooseneck ball parts..................I'm going to go with the 1" extended shank ball to get the trailer level, and you have to buy each part seperate. Luckily my buddy is a Reese dealer.

One week in and I'm hoping this thing comes in as fast as the last one they ordered. I had a dealer beating my door down for the Dodge and sold it today. Truckless for 3 weeks is going to suck, but I could not turn their offer down...............

Bumping this back up, Pics to come soon!

The truck is sitting in the rail yard an hour from my house and it's been there since Sunday. Delivery ETA was 4/10, but got pushed to 4/12, they say it can get here sooner but my salesman is off Thursday, so even if it shows up then I won't know. The gooseneck ball parts are ordered, and the back rack is here, all I need is the truck!

I really want the truck for Saturday, got a 120 mile ride that I'd love to have it for. 4 weeks without a truck and I'm really ready for this thing to get here!

I even asked the salesman if driving down to get it was an option, apparently, it's not. Well, at least I tried.

I know once my truck was assigned to a road transport company it arrived late the next day. Your salesman should be able to call and put a rush on it. My ETA was pushed out a few days also.
Good luck.
You'll love the new truck.

That would just be torture that I couldn't' endure. It's why I can't order a truck...I just don't have the patience. My head would 'splode. All I can say is your new truck will be worth the wait!

Knowing how close it its and I can't get my hands on it yet is torture. I'm working 5 minutes from the rail yard its in right now, which really rubs it in.

Could be worse, my salesman ordered a fusion hybrid I think thats what it was right after thanksgiving. It got built in the past 2 weeks, then the train broke down. It was sitting on the tracks for 3 days. THAT SUCKS! Still hasn't made it to the their lot yet.

And here come the pi.............................. Nope. Sat in the rail yard all week and didn't show up. This is killing me at this point, my paitience is getting very thin.

Can't believe these clowns can't get it on a car carrier for the hour trip to the dealer.
