Me and my buddy are going to look at a 2003 6.0 ext F250. What should be somthings to look over besides the maintenance the guy has done? Already got an oassis and the trucks never been in the shop for engine issues that we know of.. But it only has 68k on it. Anybody have a link of common things to look over?
Not many miles for a truck that old it has sit a lot . I would wonder about injectors and turbo . My 03 no problems till 99700 then 3 injectors, but since then i did put in oil cooler but it was not bad just higher temps than i wanted. Don't have to worry about the EGR cooler , if its cheap by it .
I already went to go look at it. The truck is in immaculate shape! Its never had a motor issue, it has 68k on it, the truck has no rust, interior is spotless and its always been stored indoors. It has a innovative tune on it. The maintenance is oil filter, fuel filter and oil changed every 5k. Oil change was last done 1500 miles ago. Oil was still a goldish color in the dipstick. Its a F250 Ext cab lng bed 4x4 6.0 psd. He wants 18k do u guys think thats a good price?

I have always said you can buy anything for a truck.... except miles. I love buying the low mile trucks and turning them in a few years.
Not a terrible price for a clean, low mile truck. Is it an original owner truck? Sounds like it anyway.
Matt, does the truck have head studs? I know one with flames that would go for that price and it has a new turbo... If you want to look at a truck, give me a heads up and I will make a road trip.

John if you are serious I know someone who may be interested. Standard cab truck may do the trick. How far are you from Mentor?

The truck does not have studs! PM sent!
And 13-15 grand for the extended cab seems like a legit offer lol
