Should I?
Looking at a 2003 F250 with 6.0. It has 182,000 miles. Its a trade in. Going to call the previous owner tonight. What do you guys say? I'm sure this has been approached many times but haven't dug enough to find yet. Thanks

If the truck has no way to monitor date live, then wait until you get something to do so.
How familiar are you with the 6.0 and it's "characteristics"?
Any idea of previous work on the truck? Service history? etc etc.??

The first year 6.0 had some issues, including hpop failures. I'd get the maintanence records and see what upgrades have been installed, including the hpop, oil cooler, and egr cooler for starters.

That's not good. Service is one thing but on these engines, replacement items, as noted, is another.
