Have u guys checked the thread 89 350 460 4x4 ?
I think u guys could help. Changed tfi on dizzy, it ran 3 minutes an died again. Pip sensor in dizzy ?

I wanna try this trick now, but wheres the map on a 88 351 ?

I think it would be in the engine compartment above the housing that holds the heater core not far from the firewall. I THINK

What I'm trying to say is try to fix the fast idle problem and it will likely solve your starting problem as well. Yes, I think it's a sensor.
i noticed right before it crapped out that it wasnt shifting right also. so that may be a problem but i also just replaced the egr valve because it was deff. bad and have now noticed the front cat. glowing cherry red. you know the one where the y pipe goes two into one. and it looks like its all one piece from the manifolds and past the second inline cat.
