New Truck + Curb. Help!
Hey guys, coming to you from Michigans UP. I picked up a 1990 F250 7.3 IDI with 122k on the ticker tonight for $1500. Yeah, shes got some cancer pretty good but the truck was purchased locally and sold in the same town. Truck runs great. Extended Cab Longbox with a nice Lund Topper. New glow plugs and manual toggle, newer batteries. How'd I do on price? Lockouts are good, and 4 wheel works seamlessly, well it did.
So, I was pulling in back home with a couple buddies who went with me to get it and against my better judgement they convinced me to plow through a snowbank in the parking lot. However, there was a pretty good curb hidden under the front of the bank and the truck didn't like that.
It now clunks here and there when in 4 hi/low and is perfectly fine when in 2 wheel. I haven't inspected much as it was dark, besides trying to wiggle the front driveshaft which doesn't have much play and I can spin it easily with my hand. I'm thinking U joint as it sounds like it is binding. Could it just need to be greased and the curb caused it to bind a bit? Thought maybe someone could help me diagnose the problem....
Thanks in advance!

How'd you do on price? Well I paid $2100 for my '93 F250 gasser with 157000 miles, and I got a good deal! When you say [the cancer is] bad, how bad are we talking? Around me (Connecticut), that truck goes for ~3500-4800 easy. That 250 has a TTB up front, so 2 Us on the driveshaft and 3 an the axles, plus a lot of extra bracketry to bend dead center. Check the radius arm bushings, brackets, and radius arms themselves in addition to the ujoints. I just did a D60 SAS because I had a busted bracket, old balljoints, and I got a good axle cheep.
