f-100 steering problems
i recently got an 1980 f-100 with a 300, and im haveing a problem finding a steering box. the problem is that it is almost impossible to turn the wheel at any speed. currently it has a manual steering box.what i need to know is what steering box would bolt in with little to no modifacations? thanks in advance for any help.

The way it looks in my Chilton book the stock Ford power-steering box should be a bolt in swap. But don't forget all the other stuff, i.e. p/s pump, hoses, belt, mounting bracket for pump, etc. Just an added thought, ask your parts store to show you one of each and compare over-all length, mounting bolts, etc.
