I would say Happy Sunday everyone but the Broncos got a beat down worse than the last time they played the Patriots so.....
Anyway... I am adding to my emergency lighting on my truck and picked up a wig-wag flasher unit for the headlights so I was wondering if anyone could help out with the best place to access the wires I need to tap into.
There are three wires I need to connect. I need to cut the wire that goes from one highbeam to the other. Then attach..
1 wire to the passenger side highbeam
1 wire to the drivers side highbeam
1 wire to the power that comes from the highbeam switch.
The flasher unit is sealed and water proof so under the hood mounting isn't an issue.
Didn't see this the other day or I would of got this to you then. Here's your Head Light Prints. Not sure how they hook up but your going to have to separate the lights because there both on the same circuit. IIRC you should be able to get to the wires right behind the passenger side head light.
Thanks! Thats just what I needed.
The module gets wired in between the two headlamps, (Lt green w/ black), so it can alternate the lamps. But when not in use, if I hit the high beams it powers them both.
