Interior Lights?!?!?!?
1974 F250 4X4
So when i open my truck door, no light ever come on. The little plunger switch in the door jams are broken.... So what i want ot do is put LED light bars under the dash and have them come on when i open the doors.
Anyone know where i can find little LED light bars? And the big part i cant seem to find is the little SWITCH/PLUNGER in the door jam.
If possible, i think it would be cool to wire these up to the door. So when you open the door you can have them strobe or flash etc. Or just stay on constant.

Double-check the plungers. Sometimes all they need is a little bit of lube (dielectric grease).
I'm using the engine compartment light & harness from 90s F-Series for footwell lights.

Any door jam switch from like 73 to (96?) will work.
To tap into this circuit to power the leds simply tie into the green/yellow wire under the dash.

Sweet! and i read the instructions for the flashing light bar kit, and it looks like i can wire those into the door jam 
I just have 2 split the + and - wires off into 2 leads each so i can run them to both doors.

Is there a way to get those plungers out of the door wells? Mine actually has a broken plunger, so when I open the drivers door the light won't come on. It looks like I just need a socket and unscrew it that way. What do I do after that?

You're right about the socket. Just put the socket on the outside and the whole assembly will unscrew. The hole is actually threaded.
