Fuel leak

Ok 7.3 new me but do know diesel

I'll have fuel leak some where. I'll can't seem to fine it but a i can smell it. Have check around the injectors,return lines,lines from LP to the filter from filter to IP all nice dry , look around the IP and lines going to it and in the valley all dry i also look at line the cross over for return lines dry and it new along with returns and caps

I only smell it in pass side not driver side

The truck run great not giving any problems but just want get fix before it dose

Is there something i am missing

Thanks for any help

If it's passenger side, check the lift pump. It's on the passenger side of the block, more or less straight below the filter assembly. Might be easier to see it from under the truck looking up.

Check the fuel filter heater. They leak, mine leaks straight out of the plug so it's getting deleted. Also check the fittings on the line between the filter and IP.

I just change out the housing few weeks ago for that reason linking and the fittings and line are good and dry

I even let truck run for hr at 1000 rpm's and i don't even see anything on the ground

mine drove me crazy for 6 months. until i saw a drop on the bottom of the fuel filter.
changed the filter in september and it has been bone dry and no more leaks since

Filter also new along with LP return lines kit and the cross over line between injector #5 and #6 new lines going to IP and fuel housing and new line from #8 to steel return

Oh did away with 2 part fuel filter and went with 1 piece filter w/s and drain and no leaks there

Ok ill have gone over and over still this engine for last 2 days can't fine the fuel leak any other idea's
