fule leak

fule leak

i have a 93 f250 7.3 turbo diesel and fuel is spraying out of one of the hard lines going to the fuel filter. how hard is it to replace the line and where can i find one

the hard line going from the fuel pump to the filter or from the filter to the injection pump? either way its easy to replace. not sure about finding a new one but you can check for a used one on ebay, junk yard or ask around here. i think ive got an extra one layin around

i think its the one going to the ip its the one closer to the firewall thanks

dose anyone know anywhere in sw ohio i might find this part i have never seen an idi in the junk yards here

if it's a hard line twards the firewall then it's a line from the injector pump to a injector. Can you find the line and take a pic so we can tell ya what one it is? They don't pop up often in the yards around here. Always gassers. I just buy the complete truck an part out what I don't need/want.

Is it the actual line or one of the plastic.nylon bushings at the fitting that are leaking? Those are available separately, and the part numbers/sources have been posted around here somewheres......

its the line there is a hole in it i will try to get a pic tomorrow after work

You can get one from ford but it will cost a-plenty
