Couple questions
1. I've been looking at headers and have found a couple shorty headers that allow me to keep my egr for emissions. I was wondering about long tubes. Are there long tubes that will allow me to hook up my egr. And also does anyone know if I'll run into any problems with clearance with long tubes and the transmission/transfer case?
2. One of my buddies found a set of 8 lug 15" wheels with 38" tires. Will 15" wheels fit? I currently have a dana 50 front axle and 10.25 rear. I'll be swapping to a d60 in the near future though.
3. I got rid of my rear abs controller on the frame, unplugged the abs computer in the dash. Is there any way to adjust the rear brake pressure to make them grabber sooner or later?
Pacesetter make longtubes that a lot reccomend.
2. No. 15" wheels won't fit over the caliper. They are for the older Chevy single piston caliper and even then you gotta grind. They will fit the rear but not the front.
3. You can't "add" more brake force to the rear. You can add a proportioning valve to reduce brake pressure though.
