hello to all again!!! just have a quick question here....code P1293....they say right bank high side.....firstly right bank is it drivers or pasengers...and high side open means? valvecover gasket? (again) thanks guys sure appreciate help
This post is courteousy of thedieselstop.com via Google. Your code is P1293 High Side Open Bank 1. Its possible the harness is undone or burnt. You need to run a cylinder contribution test, if your scanner has that function. If you have multiple cylinder codes from that right side (drivers side) of the engine. You will need to get your hands dirty to either resnap the connector in place or replace it. You will need to remove all components that block removal of the rocker cover. If you look in and see a multi-pin connector that has become unplugged due to fatigue of the retainer tangs. Snap the connector back into place. If retainer is loose you can make your own retainer clip that will be secure and at no cost. You can make a rectangular wafer of stainless steel, .040 thick X .75" X .95". Then slide the wafer under the clips from the top down. The wafer fits like a hand in a glove. Either that, or you can go to the dealer and they sell specially made clips to keep these harnesses secure. Once the rocker cover is back in place the wafer is totally encapsulated and cannot move. If the connector is secure and you have a burnt or damaged harness, go to ford and buy this part# Ford F81Z-9D930-AB ~$60. Install it and put it back together. Hopefully this works for you.

Right bank is on the passenger side cylinder 1,3,5,7.
In what crazy world is right bank on the left...stupid auto manufacturers. Why would they tell you the location of a bank from the perspective of being in the cab? Grrr....

Assuming left hand drive vehicles....
The left side of the vehicle is the driver's side and the right side of the vehicle is passenger side. Same goes for the engine.
The OP actually asked which side is Bank 1....that is the side that has the #1 cylinder (the right bank). The left bank has cylinder #2 so it's Bank 2. I used to get confused about this also because it does seem reasonable to think about how the engine looks while you are standing in front of the radiator looking into the engine compartment. Now I think about the engine from a bird's eye view with the front of the vehicle pointing up and the back pointing down and everything makes sense when you look at it from that perspective.
Here are some links that talk about left and right banks as well as Bank 1 and Bank 2.
