Can't decide if I should put vent visors and a hood deflector on or leave it clean..? Black Lariat Screw.

Advantages/Disadvantages, etc.

Thoughts...

Thanks

Personally I like them (smoked or paint matched, not chrome). Window ones allow vented windows in rain or when sitting in hot sun. never know when a t-storm might blow through in summer. The hood one protects the paint from chips and bugs, but is probably more optional in my view.

I have both and feel I spent my money wisely. I also like the styling. I just wish I bought the in-channel vents, I like that look a little more

Hood deflector...ehh not for me

Vent visors...YES. As Tooldad said, great to leave all 4 windows cracked on warm days or in a rain storm. Get smoked, and get in-channel. Much cleaner look.

I have the window vent visors on my truck and I really like them. I went with the ones that are in channel so that I can remove them with NO damage to the paint or body of the truck. Always a plus.

I have vent visors on all four windows and a hood deflector. All five pieces are color matched and blend in nicely with the truck to retain its clean looks.

Thanks.

I just think they look better on some trucks than others... I'm a little gun shy of the in channels from what I have heard of the window problems. Wish I could see a picture of my truck with and without them...

Any black lariat screws out there with before and after pictures?

My truck is dark blue...and while not black...might give you an idea. Pics are in my albums, but I'd be happy to post here if you wanted.

I've got a black one. Not quite your style, but it's at least black and may give you an idea. I love my window visors. Makes me feel much safer cracking my windows in the summer and it's nice to have a little more sun blocking from them as well. Check out my album for pictures as well.

I've got a black FX4. I had my vent visors painted black to match. I prefer it over stock smoked or chrome. I chose not to put a bug shield on this truck though. I like the lines of the truck without it. To each his own though.

Editted to add pics.

Black on Black with 20% tint behind them so I guess black on black on black.
