2000 Excursion no headlights

2000 Excursion no headlights

Replaced the multifuction switch, checked 3 fuses still no joy. I checked the search did not find anything. Bulbs are good.

I suck at anything electrical, but it looks like you're gonna have to use a multi-meter and see if you have power to the switch, to the fuses, to the bulbs, etc.

I replaced the multifunction switch because the high beam indicator stays on in all postionsof the multifunction switch. Same after putting in the new one. I replaced the light switch, no change, all of the other light come on with the exception of the headlights. The headlight bulbs look good but I'll check them. Was looking for a high beam relay or headlight relay I could not find one in the owners manual. Is there a relay for either?

I lost all headlights on my 2000 Ex - problem was due to bulb sockets overheating and melting/degrading. Replaced them with generic sockets from auto parts store.
I'm guessing you would have seen some damage when you checked the bulbs if this was your issue.
Just wanted to let you know what issue I had.

Yes, I was very gentle with the parts and they were returned with no problem.
