Contour bumper brackets
Does anyone have pictures of contour bumper brackets? I just took off my factory step bumper today and was wondering if I could modify those brackets to fit a contour bumper.

JB; weren't you looking for a factory camper shell? I have one if you want it. Not looking for $$$ maybe trade some parts.
Here is my short list:
good windshield
dog dish hub caps
contour bumper brackets
turn signal arm (that screws in to steering column)

If ya can fab, late 80s/early 90s Bronco contoured brackets will work by sectioning in some 3/16 plate and drilling holes to fit your frame.
On the left is the modified and stock inner bracket on the right. The outer brackets will need to modified in a similar fashion.

Some day I will get to the factory camper shell but I want to put it on a supercab 4x4 that I want to build when I get done with my current build. All I would have is the bumper brackets because my bumper is toast. I would pay shipping and give you some on top of that if you would be interested. You got a pick of the bumper.

The modified brackets for a contour bumper look different then the step bumper brackets that I have as far was where they mount to the trucks frame. Mine are flat compared to C shaped. Still looking to see factory bumper brackets for contour bumpers.

Here's the brackets on my contour bumper.

Disregard the L-channel welded on inside of each bracket, it will be getting cutoff and ground down.

1973/79 F100/350: There are two different types of Styleside contoured rear bumper brackets.
The following fit 1973/79 F100/350 except 1973/79 F350's on the 140" wheelbase.
D3TZ-17787-C .. Right Inner Bracket / Obsolete
