GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 50 = 800-543-4959.
Hi I found this old post of yours and wanted to ask if this part will fit my '72 F250? (trying to search and not bug folks) Or if it's a different part# can you tell me what it is. I drove the truck today (it was parked next door I just moved it from there) and it has quit a bit of play in the steering but it tracks really well, run great. Thanks you're a great help.

Cyretired2,
LMAO, glad I'm not the only one who digs up bones. I believe the rag joints are the same from 67-72.

C9UZ-3A525-A (replaced C9TZ-3A525-B & D3TZ-3A525-A) .. Steering Coupler (rag joint) / Obsolete

1969/74 F100/250 2WD & F350; 1969/74 Econoline; 1975 F100/250 2WD & F350 with manual steering.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any. Dorman makes a replacement, it's available from auto parts stores.

I'm sure he will. That's what I was thinking. I'll change the whole colomn later with a new tilt one I found on line. Right now I just need to drive the thing safely.

That didn't matter until 1975.

Just to let you know, Dorman Products doesn't have it, contacted Dorman Products CS. Dorman only has this listed for fitting the '72 E-100/E-200/E-300 vans, not the pick up’s.
But I found: LARES 202 Steering Coupling Assembly for $ 16.16 on
RockAuto.com. Big help though with the heads up. Thanks

Geez Louise! It's the SAME steering coupler for 1969/74 F100/250 2WD's, F350's & Econolines!
C9UZ-3A525-A (replaced C9TZ-3A525-B & D3TZ-3A525-A) .. Steering Coupler / Obsolete

1969/74 F100/250 2WD & F350 / 1969/74 Econoline (E100/200/300) / 1975 F100/250 2WD & F350 with manual steering.

Whoever you contacted at Dorman doesn't know diddly-squat.

Probably right, don't doubt you. Ya' been right so far but I did find one anyway. Their site does say the part is for the van though, so I had to ask in an email (twice) and gave them the whole skinny to clearfiy, That is what I got back. I guess it's some grunt who's limited to what they see on thier site and are not that knowable otherwise.

Sometimes you just have to go lay hands on the item you're after. There's not too many left left that can cross reference numbers.
