My trailers lights arent working at all- so frustrated right now!! Ive checked all the fuses and those are good, ive got no power back to the 7 pin connector, anyone encountered this, it doesnt help that when it comes to electrical i'm an idiot so i need some input from those of you who are savvy when it comes to that sort of thing-thanks!
Well this is a factory setup so it should already be there. They were working just fine one evening when I hooked up my trailer then when i moved the truck around the barn they went out.

Isn't there a second fuse to protect the main (truck) circuit from being damaged by faulty trailer wiring?
When you lose all the lights as you describe, you more than likely lost your ground. Are you checking for power at your seven pin using the ground terminal in the seven pin, or are you using a chassis ground?
i was using chassis ground, i think the trailer wiring is good because it works fine on other trucks. Should I try using the ground terminal in the seven pin? Thanks again for all the good advice.

Ron,
Are you using a test light or a meter to take your readings? The reason I focus on a ground is that is the problem about 90% of the time. It does sound like the trailer wiring is fine. Getting good contact at the seven pin can be a problem and often is.
