Question Trailer electrical Issues

Hello, i have a 2007 F250 SD 4x4 Diesel with the Tow control package. It has the 7 pin and 4 pin combo on the rear bumper. I just bought a trailer with the 7 pin connector. I am almost positive, but i had another trailer and everything worked fine. That was about six months ago. The new trailer, the running lights work on the trailer as well as the interior lights. Trailer brakes work as well. However neither turn signal or brake lights work. I checked most of the fuses that had anything to do with the trailer. Still no joy. Connected the trailer to a brand new King Ranch and everything worked. So i am assuming it is my truck. While checking fuses, right next to the under hood fuse box, i noticed 4 wires not connected. Dont know what they are for. But i am pretty sure that my other trailer worked fine so i dont think these wires are suppose to be connected anyway. Any ideas where i should start?

Thanks in advance.

Those 4 wires are your "customer access wires". They are not hooked to anything but the other end of them is under your dash just behind your fuse panel.

They are there to make it easier for you to hook up accessories without having to fish extra wires through the firewall.

If another trailer worked with your 250, then you're not missing a fuse or relay. Do the running lights in the trailer's combo lights work? Make sure all grounds are good; turn/brake lights pull more juice than the others. Have you tested both of the 250's connectors to see if you're getting voltage at those pins?

Only difference was the first trailer was a little while ago. The new trailer's running lights work as well as the combo lights. I have tested any of the voltage on the pins. What should i be looking for on what pins?

Look on the plastic cover for your truck plug, it gives you a diagram of which pin is which. Then turn on the lights you want to test for and use a 12 volt test light to see if you are getting power to the proper pin.
