New oil cooler 15-18 delta

Just had oil cooler and egr delete and the delta is as stated above. The head gaskets are gone not bad just pukes a little. Going to have heads done next week. I think that spread is way to high at 70- 75 mph. Just wanted more opinion on the spread. Thanks a head for any input!!

first off get some vc9 and flush it again. replace the oil cooler again when the heads are off.
from there I would still put my egr valve in and plug it in it wont do anything but take up space and possible keep the pcm on the happer side.

I would not leave a boiler cleaner in my engine for more then a few hours. I would do the flush and then reuse your old coolant for the time being.

Ya they say vc9 shouldn't be there over 3 hours...
They say not to but run the vc9 in there for an hour or two then flush it with the hosefor a while and make sure it's alll out and then go back with old coolant if only for a few days...
To be honest if I were doing hg and oil cooler I'd probabl go ahead and remove the radiator and have it cleaned at a radiator shop... Just for piece of mind... But you should be good then

What are your actual ECT and EOT numbers? If your thermostat isnt functioning correctly, it can throw your oil/water delta off as well.

Just a thought.
