Not all are the same. There are six cyl tranny's, eight cyl, pan fill, case fill. Set up for 2 wheel drive, four wheel drive. Just make sure you are buying the right one for your application.

I had a C-4 from a 2wd truck in my old Mustang and it held up great for several years of Drag strip duty.They are good trannys,the pick-up trans had more clutches but I know guys drag racing using passenger car trannys.Good clutches and a shift kit they will do a good job.
