I was just wondering if I can put 265/75/16's on my 97 F-150 4x4. Ive got stock 245/75/16s on it now. Will anything change? Would you put on BF Good all terrain ko's or Pirelli Scorpions? I dont off road much but alot of rain where I live
You can go up to a 285/75/16 on 4x4 f150's, or a 33 inch tall tire overall. I would go with BFG AT's as I've had them on a few trucks and loved them. However, the all terrain truck tire market is getting pretty big right now, so there may be other possible better and cheaper options. I'm researching in a couple of 4x4 mags now some different tires that aren't so common. But you really can't lose with the BFG's.
Yup u can run 265/75R16 tires on ur truck.I run them on myne with 16X10 rims.Only thing to watch for is when u turn the wheel they almost rub the front corner of the bumper.Myne don't rub but their about an 1inch off.
If ur worried about the rubbing u might want to stay with the stock16X7 rims.I ran my stock rims on their with those tires and they were fine.A 16X8 rim could work too.But like I said myne don't rub so ur probally okay and u might not want to get new rims in that case.
