any ideas what this includes?

640A is for a XL F350 dually chassis cab (not pickup!). It comes standard with the 6.2L and the 6 speed torqshift.

Also, I saw in another thread you were asking about the trailer brake controller. It is not included as standard equipment with 640A. It is an available option (52B) but if it wasn't ordered with it then it won't have it.

anyway to tell by vin# if it has option 52B?

Here is a copy of the 2012 Order guide. You can look through it and compare to the truck you're looking at. Also, follow the instructions in this thread:https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...l-sticker.html and you can see the window sticker by entering the VIN number as is detailed in that thread.
