My gear shifter will not move. It goes from 1 to 2 to D. Will not move after that. Feels like something is stopping it.

 

Take the shrouds around the steering column off, and the instrument bezel, and take a look. If you don't see anything obvious, disconnect the shift cable from the shifter (It's a plastic piece that snaps on to a ball connected to the shifter, and then you can see if it's in the shifter or downstream...
