Finally got the truck apart this last weekend. While I was starting to remove things I noticed that the High Pressure Oil Crossover that I installed many years ago had oil on it. On removing and inspecting this line we found a fitting that was leaking/ruptured. I had the hose type of crossover but I am replacing with the solid line type. This appears to have been my problem; with the leak spraying back and over to the head gasket area it appears that it may have only leaked when under higher pressure. Currently have old plugs back in and waiting new crossover line.

Thanks for the up date. I thought it mit be something like that. Head gaskets don't usually have oil leaks, but who knows fro sure.

I too, finally fixed my oil leak. It turned out to be my hpop, which was cracked and leaking on right side, oil running down underside of right intake, and dripping off head into valley. Been 4000 miles with no leak. Thanks everyone for the tips.
