Good Wednesday morning to all you early rising Nor Cal FTE folks! I am in so much pain I cannot sleep. Going to have to make a Doctor's appointment ASAP. Seems to be in the right hip joint area.

Good Morning NorCal, Hank,
Still dark out there, but I expect another fine day.
I have a match this morning, followed by three hours of lessons this afternoon. Hope i can still walk at the end of the day.

Hope you all have a great day.

So do I. however, right now I need to find a Doctor who will take me. My primary care physician won't do it, and the place they recommend doesn't take medi-cal. If it gets any worse, I may just get a ride to the ER.

Happy Thursday everyone!

Jim - That sucks about your primary Dr.! What ever happened to the good ol' days when a "Family Dr." could do it all?

Those days are gone along with the days when a doctor made house calls. basically this primary doctor only does health maintenance, and not any injury specific treatment. They recommended a different clinic, but since it does not handle Medi-Cal, I can't go there. I guess I will have to contact my surgeon's office, and see if they will handle it.

On a different note, Good Thursday morning FTE'ers!

Jim

Jim - Remember the good ol' days?

Old fashioned morals & values? A mans(persons) word & a handshake? When things were alot simpler?
It kinda makes me wish we could go back to the way things were then.
NO computers (especially in schools- bring back penmanship), video games, cellphones, answering machines, cars made of steel & carburated (not aluminum/plastic), lap belts, riding in the bed of a pickup truck or turning around in the backseat to look at the cars/people behind you, TV's w/o remote controls (when you actually had to get out of your chair & walk to the TV to change the channel) LOL!

Yeah I remember all of that. We used to ride in the back of pickups all the time, even a whole little league team of kids in one truck. Cars and trucks had real metal back then. No plastic dashes. TV's without remotes, some of them even had color picture tubes instead of black and white. 8 track players, record players, cassette players. Small hand held transistor radios that you had to move around to get good reception. And I could ride my bike anywhere I wanted without fear of being kidnapped, abducted or killed. We did have Halloween candy scares back then though No microwaves, you actually had to cook all your own food. No VCR's or mp3 players, not even a CD or DVD player. I would say we had it rough back then, except we did not know it then, so we enjoyed what we did have. Of course, I am a computer geek, so I would miss those if they were taken away.

Yah, I agree. Although I'm not a computer geek, but i would miss it if I didn't have it!

Check this out...
I currently have & they still work great a rotary dial phone & my moms old tube type 8' long cabinet console "Scott" brand radio/record player!
I think I still have my sisters hand me down 8 tracks & stereo too! I even still have her super single waterbed. Damn, those were the days!

OMG, memories - I remember going to work with my mom at the Mt. View Police Dept. before they built the new building (1000 Villa St.?) & I was amazed as I watched the switchboard operator plugging in 1 line & unplugging another &/or transferring lines around w/o managing to tie the different phone lines in knots. LOL! (Now that's an old phone system!!!)
