I was off today. Dang was I busy though. Got a call this morning and made a run to Rochester. I found an unbeatable deal on Craigslist for our dishes. Same patter and over double what we already have with more items that we don't have $100.
Hauled a bunch of garbage to the dump. Sheesh .. it cost me just as much to dump the garbage as what the junkyard is paying for scrap metal. 720 lbs worth of garbage and carpet from the house.
Ran to Minntonka to pick up our bedroom set. Awesome deal. Couldn't pass it up.
The gear ratio on the derdge is SOOO LOWWWW. At 70MPH, it's not even doing 2K RPM when the TC is locked. Unfortunately, it's barely enough power to maintain that speed pulling a 6x12 trailer empty. If I try to use the CC, it runs 3K RPM and TC doesn't lock up. It takes just the right touch to get the TC to lock. Too much gas and it downshifts. Too little and the TC unlocks. I miss being able to trust my truck to go that far. Unforunately, that's kind of on hold right now due to the time and effort we need to put into the house.
