Didn't mean to be hurtful, there, Bill. It was that talk about lust that got to me!
Also, this morning I'm a grouch! I tried my new APAP** machine for the first time Tuesday night and got a really good night's sleep for the first time in a long time. Yesterday was a very different day for me, as I didn't feel remotely drowsy all day!
Then, last night about midnight, I discovered a large hole in the machine's air tubing. It hissed like a snake! I was afraid that Marge would not sleep well with the noise, so I didn't wear it all night.
This morning I'm back to drowsy, but I now have something to compare it to, and I'm p/o'd that it's not going to be as nice a day today.
I have to go get a new one, I guess, as I'm not going to just put tape on a one-day-old hose.
I've been reading that some folks are depressed about having to be hooked up to something all night, but from the results I saw in just one night's use, I'm thrilled, instead!
Apnea. I've had three different tests run over the last three months or so, and it wasn't until the last one that they finally came back a week ago with something other than "inconclusive".
I don't snore at all unless I'm on my back, which I've learned not to do.
But I still occasionally stop breathing. It's apparently not too bad, but it deprives me of REM, which leaves me feeling thick-as-a-brick for much of the day.
Yesterday was MUCH different, back to my "old self", which is why I'm not looking forward to today. Tonight and tomorrow will be different again!
Those CPAP units are becoming very common. And not just for seasoned citizens. I wonder how anyone can sleep at all while plumbed up, but everyone says they get used to it.
