I didnt have time! I was in and out! But I did linger on the 101 in the SF Valley for a few hours thanks to an idgit saying hello to the center divider with his truck.

 

Well, it was raining.

Intelligence, reason and driving ability go out the window when it rains. People act like they've never seen water fall from the sky!

I hope your Tuesday is good! It's gotta be better than yesterday, that's for sure! I guess we'll see.

Well, yesterday my laptop took a **** & pretty much locked up! I can turn it on & when it gets to the windows desktop with the icons, "My Clean PC" screen pops up & I can't do anything after that! It takes over my computer. I can't close it & it won't let me do anything else. I either run the program & purchase it or I have to hard boot my computer to shut it down. I can't even reset my computer. GRR!!!! So, for now I'm back to using the old dinosuar & hope that this one holds up. It's even running super slow now. I wonder if you can get a virus in the actual "Verizon internet stick?" I just don't know what to think anymore. Jimmy tried everything he could think of to get it the laptop to work, but he gave up & I think we're just going to take it back to the repair shop to have our important stuff saved to disk & trash the laptop! We'll just have to wait until tax time & buy a brand new one then.
I can't believe the luck I've had with this fricken laptop!!! Anyway, if this dinosaur goes down too, I'll be back to square one again & I'll have someone step in to run the NV board until I can get things squared away.
I already called Bruce lastnight to give him a heads up on things.
Ok, that's it for now. Hopefully this will post & I'll be able to continue to get online. TTYL,,,

Howdy SoCal. Trying to visit EACH state (y'all get hit twice since they split you into two parts). Have a favor request & asking my neighbors for help. Have a buddy that collects license plates. He has a neighbor (autistic/special needs boy) that likes license plates & has always thought my buddy's collection was cool. Last year my buddy decided to try help the boy get a collection of his own. The list at the bottom is just what he's still missing. If you can help, please P.M. me for his address. ANY & ALL plates are welcome. The boy just likes to get them. If you need postage reimbursed, he'll be glad to. Just drop a note in with the plates to let him know & include your name & address. Donna, see my reply in the Nor Cal section. If you are going to take it back to the repair shop, have them get rid of the "MyCleanPC files. They should have no problem doing that. This way you can still use your laptop.

I do computers for a living, and would be more than happy to help if I can. I have been able to successfully clean computers remotely (My buddy is in MD), and it wouldn't be much trouble. If you're interested, send me a PM and we can set it up. Sorry, but half of the computer repair shops out there shouldn't be...
