early 460EFI vs late 460EFI??

Just did a swap from a 95 F450 into a 92 F250. Minor differences. Kept most of the 450 parts because research said the stock injectors, valves and throttle body were slightly larger. Overall slight stock horsepower difference, I think 10hp, nothing major. 450 engine also had a stock oil cooler that ties directly into the water cooling system. Thought that was a darn fine idea even though it's kind of clumsy looking, so I kept it. I'm pretty sure that was it for differences.

Thanks, I've dug through everything I could find.... not a lot of information to be found. I kinda remember the later models had slightly larger intake valves but wasn't sure about anything else.
I've bought a '89 F250 with a very tired 460, also have a complete '94 460 engine.... sounds like the '94 would be a better place to start.

The heads changed in 93 with the F3TZ heads, There is apparently an intake change as there are 3 different ones listed E8TZ, F2TZ and F3TZ. The exhaust manifolds changed with the heads. The oil cooler you describe is a known leak point and was used starting in 90 on the 460s, prior to that they used an air to oil cooler in front of the AC condensor.
