A couple other different things I updated. I managed to find a newer seat out of a mid90s supercab.
I added a sanden AC compressor
I did replace the breather cap since those pics. And I don't have the vac advance hooked up right now. With it hooked up, it get a little sputter from a dead stop to accretion for about a couple seconds and then comes out of it. With no vac advance, it runs just fine. I have to figure that out yet.
I replaced heater core and blower motor. I replaced the big radiator with a new one. I still want to replace valve cover gaskets, new exhaust, intake and go through the brakes.
Thanks guys. I did find the original build sheet under the original seat. I managed to find some pieces of it that mice used for the multiple nests they made while the truck sat in the trees and pieced together what I could. Most of it is there.
Looks real good. Nice work. I am working on a '75 and am planning on painting it two-tone. It was originally solid yellow. I am thinking of yellow over a real light beige/off-white color. I have painted a couple of cars using the rustoleum/foam roller method that some love and some hate, but may actually use real paint and a gun for this one. These trucks were made to be two-tone in my opinion.
