studs go into the block not the head... can you bring us that are out of the loop up to speed on what all your doing? until then, my standard fall back is to find something to take off, paint, and put back on!
Well I just took the cylinder head to my local machine shop, it won't be worked on till Monday or Tuesday. So I'm looking for something to do I think I'm gonna sand blast the engine bay , clean it up a bit.

Muscletruck: What I'm doing to engine is p&p the head, milling the head and decking the block, honing the block, new rings and bearings, three angle valve job, crower cam 19212, crower spring kit, hedman header, offy dp intake mani, etc of course new w/p new timing gears, and starter. Should be a nice set up when its all said and done there no built six shooters out here. Just v8s and the honda kids with there ying ying mufflers
