7.3 PS Excursion
After many many months of seeing my X sit in the driveway not wanting to start and after many many times in the shop...I have finally found another shop to place it in! So here is my story... 2000 Ford X 7.3 PS Diesel Started back in March I believe. One day while driving it just died, I restarted and it died til two days later it wouldn't start at all. Theft light is blinking tried flashing the keys, replacing the PCM, Cam Sensor, fuel pump Cleaned everything...Still nothing...At this new shop the guy ran the codes and first time it pulled up a bad PCM cleared and scanned it again. Now it's the instrument cluster, I'm assuming the immobilizer b/c it has to do with the theft system. Ordered the part will be here today... How do you install an immobilizer? and if this isn't it...what else could it possibly be? This has been going on for to long and I am ready to have her back on the road...Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
