7.3 no start
I have a buddy with a 1988 F350, 4 sp. It's got the 7.3 international diesel, I'm guessing IDI because it doesn't have the turbo. He has a no start problem. He started it last week, it shut down on it's own and will not refire. He has fuel to the filter and the motor cranks over fine, when the battery isn't dead. We tried to pull it along the road with my truck but it still wouldn't fire up!. He noticed the tach wasn't reading and my gues is the cam sensor is bad. My truck did the same thing! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since I'm a little weak in the diesel department. Thanks
