Help needed with Code P1280

My uncle has a 02 350 with the 7.3 diesel on it. He said when he first starts to drive his truck the check engine light comes on but after a few miles it goes off. He checked it while the light was on and it came up with the code P1280. He said the truck runs fine even when the light comes on. Were curious as to what this means and what needs to be done to fix the problem! Thanks

He may have the indications of an ICP sensor going bad. Remove the plug on the ICP sensor and check for oil leaking from the sensor terminals. If oil is found, replace the sensor and clean the plug before installing. This is the most common cause of a ICP code glitch.
