I bought a used 1950 that was used to tune a diesel. I paid to get it un-VIN-locked but all the info still shows for the old truck like vin number and such.. it says tuner in NOT VIN LOCKED!
Just want to make sure when I plug it into my 2011 ranger that it wont try and load the diesel tune and just mess everything up..
basicly im gun shy about tuning my truck haha
anyone have any issues or experinces with using used tuners or similar experiences..
not worried about voiding warrenty just dont want any un-expected or avoidable problems
bit the bullet and tuned truck anyway..
all went well...starting out on Milage XS...the best i got in town was 21mpg before the tune so we shall see what this gives me in a while
