Where do you set your engine warnings?

I recently purchased a 2000 Excursion with the 108K miles, 7.3 diesel, and an Edge juice tuner that sounds off a boost alarm under what I consider minimal acceleration. I do not want to blow up the engine or transmission (which I think is stock but not 100% sure), but I want to get to 50 in under 20 seconds. Got a new airaid filter on order and a new set of slightly smaller tires that I hope will give the engine more of a fighting chance to get going. Any advice?

Many Thanks,

Chris

What is the alarm currently set at? Typically you don't want to boost above 25 psi on a stock turbo if you're interested in longevity.

it is set at 5.0 right now. Not sure what it hits under acceleration but am guessing it is a lot less than 25. Wil; play with it tomorrow when I can see the screen.

Many Thanks.
