All ya had to do was let me know you added it! I already repped you in advance, but scoobie snacks are harder to come by, so I'm not as generous when it comes to those!

Here ya go...eat 'em slow!

Like stated above the best way to determine you drain interval or determine how well the oil you chose is doing in your engine is by doing a used oil analysis (UOA). They cost $15-$20 and show your engine oil's servicability, air filter performance and any potential problems. The drain interval for my 7.3L Excursion is 7,000-7,500 miles running Schaeffer Series 7000 15W-40 Synthetic Blend (part synthetic-part dino) $17 per gallon. The best of both worlds. Here is a copy of my last UOA report. Wear metals are all low, additive levels still good, viscosity still in the 40 weight range, no water or coolant found and the air filter (silicon level) is doing excellent at 8 ppm - under 20 ppm @ 5,000 miles is considered normal. Oxidation and nitration levels are still way low so this oil might be good to 10,000 miles but I changed it over to 5W-40 for the winter.

It will probably take 6.5 qts. if you use Motocraft oil filter.

In my 7.3 I can go 10-15k on one oil change.

But personally with a V10, I wouldnt go that high. The V10 has much less oil in its belly and it revs a LOT higher using the oil more. The only way to know for sure it to get your oil tested. But if I owned a V10, I wouldnt put my oil to 15k miles like I do on a 7.3. 5-8k maybe. Get your oil tested though.
