So should I buy a new truck or will putting new sticks and tuninning take care of it?
You can make one quick truck out of yours for the price of a new one! I vote for keeping the old one and building it up a bit, but then again, I'm old fashioned like that.
I could feel it tryin to slip in 3rd at around 3k rpm
Are you sure your torque convertor isn't slipping/unlocking? Lemme guess, higher rpm, it revs but no power to the ground...

X2 on that...my wife keeps breaking my ***** saying sell both your "old" trucks and buy a new one...
Now that u say that it might be the convertor when I let out I got a hard shutter. I felt like I hit the little bump on side of the interstate at 90mph. Oh well it doesn't really matter cause I have plans on a ZF swap if it falls trough the I'm doing a racers x build

Go up to the new 6.7 forum and search for a thread by Rickatic about the HPFP. He got a little water or DEF in his diesel and ended up with a bill for $10k to completely replace the high pressure fuel system. His truck was down for a couple of months while Ford decided not to warranty the problem.
On the other hand, you could put in some stage one's in an afternoon while enjoying a few cold ones. I guess either way would work
