Reside in area where it's extremely humid and damp during winter months. It's during this time of year many of the electrical problems on the 65 start to surface. Few yrs back started having problems with wiper switch; sometimes worked and sometimes did not. Couple years ago, with the help from Bill (ND) I found a replacement switch and it worked great until recently when it started having same problems as the old switch. Darn switch aint cheap so before looking for a replacement I unplugged the connector from the switch, dried and cleaned then applied a dab of dielectric grease to each of the pins, reassembled and it worked fine. Just so happened I kept the old switch and did same and reinstalled and now it works fine; it's really tooo soon to tell, hopefully I now have a spare. Anyhow, thought I would post for info purposes?

dielectric grease
Gotta love that dielectric grease. I use gobs of it on all electrical connections, bulbs and TS cams. Helps later if you need to disassemble electrics. Really good on Ford bulk head connectors. Also called bulb grease or (my favorite) "nonconducting silicone grease").
