Hello, I recently purchased my first house, and i'm looking for a replacement antenna for my 08 f150 screw. The truck fits in the garage just the stock antenna is about 5 inch's too long. Does anyone know where I can get something that's a little shorter then stock ? I believe the stock is 31" so something that's 25 or so would be ideal.

 

You may want to talk to your local stereo shop I believe the antenna is matched to the radio and they may have an answer.

 

A buddy of mine took a hasksaw to his, to gain some clearance. That's definitely not the "right" way to do it, but he claims his radio reception is unaffected. Since you'll be buying a new one anyway, might want to try that as a free option.

 

I ordered a 15" black Big Stick from Auto Anything and it works better then the stock one did and cost me about $20.

 

I got mine from antennax.com and it is supposed to be 14". I think it was around 20 bucks. It looks great on the truck, imo. I think it looks 100 times better than the factory one. Here are a couple pics of mine:
