Toughest Time

So, ordered 7 weeks ago. Got info for build date, sticker view and CSX tracking from FTE member (thanks). Dealer said they were going to provide that but have not heard from them since order time. (separate story). Sales guys, man....

CTX says delivered to customer location. I think it is sitting a yard somewhere in the area, but no way to track from that point. It is hard knowing my truck is so close but can't track it anymore and no clue what is going on.

I know it should be here soon. Driving past dealer everyday.......

Sorry for the rant, just a little jacked.

It's difficult, I know.
12 week wait for mine.
Worth it when it gets here though!

I'm right there with ya Jack_Pine! Ordered it, got the window sticker, tracked it on CSX and she sits less than 20 miles from my home... Original del date was Dec 19th. We're leaving tomorrow for Denver for the holidays, so I'm really bummed now. Oh well, hopefully it'll be ready in a week.

I did drop off the ol 08 today as my trade and so they can swap out the 5th wheel for me while I'm out...whenever the 12 arrives.

Does that jack come with pine?

Sorry, I just had to take the shot and at least try to lighten the mood. I'd be asking questions too. Lots of them.

Which, off topic though, I got a call the other day and the first words out of the guys mouth were "I just got off the phone with someone that asked more questions than you". Naa, not possible...

I hope you find out what the deal is soon! Keep us posted.

Funny, we are going cabin for the holidays and need current truck with cap to do that. So if they called tomorrow I would have to wait (cap not in until 1/19).

Being said, I would still like to see it......

No worries, jack goes with many things. Not a huge deal I guess, just trying to keep myself occupied waiting for truck and reading the threads,

Thanks to all for that.............

And 1 day (or maybe it was two).
It was painful.

Edit: I remember now; 12 week 1 day when I picked it up.
I went back and paid for it a day later.

Yep

Been there, done than. Mine pulled into Denver 6 days after they built it (WOW). That was fast. Now it sits there in the yard only an hour away. Dealer said they may send a driver to get it. Since it snowed out here, just as well it sits there. Patience Jack.

Here's a picture of mine taken a year and a half ago. It's behind the fence at the rail terminal in Salt Lake City. My dealer was kind enough to take me there so I could actually drive it out of the rail yard to the dealership. That was fun. Put me solidly on the road to truck geekdom.

I tell you, when I look at this picture I almost don't recognize the truck. I drove straight from the dealer to the tire shop to replace the Michellins and the next day put on the front end level.

Mine took just as long to deliver as it did to be built. Most of that time was the truck sitting on the railyard lot. That was the hardest part of the wait.
