I have a Diablo flip chip that has a stock position. If I have the switch set for stock, can I go and recalibrate the revs per mile? I have access to a Ford scan tool (WDS). Or do I need to send the chip out for a recal?

 

??? Is the wds likte the old Rotunda NGS system where it will scan the truck while driving? Or is it one of those new $10,000+++ machines that is stationary?
Just askiin , because I know that the old ngs would tell you and let you do alot.

 

Yes the WDS is the stationary 10,000.00 peice. I have an NGS also. Will it work if I have the switch set to stock??

 

Ok I am still trying to get a grip on your question. You have put larger tires and a chip on your truck? Now you are trying to recalabrate the spedo?? Am I right or off by a mile, just askin to get a petter perspective on it thats all.

 

Yes, I have a Diablo flip chip that was programmed for stock tires. I need to reprogram the pcm to get the correct speedo accuracy after adding larger tires. I should be able to do this if my chip is in the stock position. Does anyone agree, or should I call Diablo?
