I just recieved a custom burned chip form a local tuner and it's a flip chip burned on a diablo card with diablo switch and cable included.
I cleaned the EEC contacts and installed per the instructions (I've done this twice now (Tbird and F150) in previous cars and am pretty capable of not screwing things up.
NO matter what position the switch is in (up, middle, down) the car will not start. With the key in the on position the PATS (anti theft light) blinks rapidly and the odometer shows (-------) across instead of the vehicle's mileage.
If I remove the chip it starts up just fine.
Any advice?
I left an email for the tuner that programmed the chip, but can't get a hold of the him right now since it's a fairly nice saturday afternoon out there. If anyone has run into this I'd sure like to hear from them.
Thanks!! I found the note in the FAQ your link sent me to. I think I'll post another topic here to see if anyone has the schematic information as to where to install the jumpers.
